Social Contribution

Version en españolversão em portugues

As social individuals, we can decide to act aligned to a coherent construction of peace.

Peace in society is the reflection of the inner peace, this goes beyond the mental world we identify with, is the true connection to what we feel peace, what we think, feel, say and do from our own peace.

This is about committing to always build from our peace, in a conscious way, and from that point constructing different ways of expressing our peace.

Everything we think, feel, say and do has an impact on society, we can perceive it in every situation in our life, therefore, feeling what is peace for us and aligning our mind and expression to this desire, leads us to impact with a conscious intention, which result we can also perceive in our experience.

Contributing in society is understanding that each decision we make has an impact on it, and the more integrity we put on the intention of our contribution, the more integrity there is in the social construction.

Growing Through Recreation

When we focus on constructing from our peace, recreation is an essential aspect, since it is the way of integrating all the areas of our life into our own purpose of peace. It is time to learn more about our personal way of constructing what makes ourselves flow. It`s as simple as living in our own present and making decisions from our peace in every moment. This means, we are so conscious and connected to our essence, that we trust in every decision we make from peace for constructing an integral life. We can decide living our life as a whole, where our personal and professional areas become one, since we allow our essence to be the foundation of everything and express our authenticity. This way, time is experienced in a different way, we just understand that our personal area contributes to our professional area, and that our professional area also contributes to our personal area, so planning becomes dispensable and every moment is time to recreate ourselves and enjoy life. Information we get through conversations, movies, books, music, or any other source, can be used for recreating everything we construct from our purpose of peace. This makes us feel that we are always building a world of peace, with each decision we make.

The Game of Life

Version en español

versão em portugues

Life is, basically, a game in which we learn the basic rules of the place we’re in, in order to “fit” in the present model. When we think about that as a puzzle, it’s like trying to place a piece by forcing it where it doesn’t fit naturally, at the end it manifests incoherence. When we start questioning ourselves about everything in our lives, we perceive that there are game strategies that allow us to know ourselves deeply, so we can really fit in that puzzle in infinite expansion, then the result is coherent.

By using the concept of the puzzle in our lives, we can perceive that we have many possibilities of forcefully fitting our own pieces, everything we are, either because of the power of our mind or the unconscious patterns we carry, but only one way of fitting everything naturally: building up from whatever potentiates our peace.

Then, here are some actions we can integrate to our lives, to inspire integrity from our example, for us who want to build a coherent, transparent and sustainable society from integrity:

  1. Authenticity: being authentic goes beyond what is evident, is truly knowing ourselves, understanding what truly potentiates our inner peace and put it into practice, to build from our talents integrated to our personality, the appropriate way of contributing in this moment, stopping following models to start following our heart.

  2. Contribution: by exercising our authenticity, we understand that competition becomes obsolete, since we learn to build our own dreams without the need for winning or desiring the same that other people, this is the way we truly contribute, we just do what’s necessary from the certainty of who we are from our essence (click here to read about integration of our essence).

  3. Expression: as we contribute from our authenticity, we perceive the importance of adjusting our personal expression. The way we think and feel is so aligned and coherent that when we make a gesture, take action or express any word in disalignment to them, we perceive there are other ways we need to seek and exercise to give coherence and power to what we transmit, specially when we are conscious about the importance of being the example of what we want to build up as society.

The most important rule of the game of life is: thought, feeling and expression must be aligned to a purpose, it’s up to us to decide to do it from our purpose of peace (click here to read about activating our purpose mode).

Regulating Our Metabolism With Iodine

Version en español

versão em portugues

In this journey through minerals, we have known a little more about Calcium (click here to read about calcium) and Iron (click here to read about iron), and its importance for the body. Today, the issue is the IODINE. The body of an adult contains an average of around 20 to 50 mg of iodine, and most of it is found in the thyroid gland. Iodine is essential for the formation of the thyroid hormone that secretes this gland, which is important for the regulation of metabolism. Thyroid hormones in children support normal growth and development, including mental development.

It is important to know how to optimize the absorption of iodine and foods that contain higher concentrations of the mineral.

  1. Iodine is better absorbed when our intestine is balanced, this is achieved by investing in the consumption of more natural and organic foods (if possible) and consuming enough water and enough omegas to keep our bowels moving.
  2. Foods of marine origin (like seaweed) and iodized salt contain the highest levels of iodine (a good portion of sushi, even without fish, is a good source of iodine if it’s made with seaweed and salt).

IODINE is one of the essential micronutrients we need to consume in the appropriate measure for our own body (click here to read about cell regeneration and micronutrients). We need to remember that our body has a special way of reacting to what we intake, that’s why it is very important to be conscious about what is really appropriate for us (click here to read about our nutricional consciousness) It is always time to know our bodies and give them just what’s necessary, this is part of a process of connection that leads us to develop our energetic efficiency, what allows us to increase our creativity and creation levels.

Manifesting the Truth of Our Heart

Version en español

versão em portugues

As we grow up, and know ourselves deeply through our decisions and experiences, we get to identify what keeps us flowing in our peace and whatever keeps us away from it, either positive or negative. This process of self-knowledge and self-analysis is essential for us to learn how to identify the truth from our heart and the “truth” that comes from our belief system (that has built our emotional world in an unconscious way, that is often very desaligned from our heart, mainly because of the belief of separation).

As well as we are able to connect to what our mind believes that is our reality (belonging to extremes in order to segregate due to the desire of competing and comparing), we’re able to connect to the integral wisdom of our heart, the one that leads ourselves to act from our peace in order to learn, in an objective way, about our own experience from our personal perception, from integrity, aligned to the context, putting our mind to its service to construct from authenticity in unity, and contribute effectively.

For manifesting the truth of our heart, it is essential that we consciously connect to our perceptive system, here, I share these simple actions that we can integrate to understand that our life depends less on personal opinions (from us or others) when we live it from transprency, respect, integrity and coherence:

  1. FLOWING WITH CONSCIOUSNESS: to flow with consciousness it is necessary that we install the belief of acting from integrity, coherence, respect and transparency, since, this way, we tune our mind into the vibratory frequency of our heart. Having this belief that potentiate our heart from the mind, we need to perceive the signs we receive through our perceptive system and flow where we truly feel peace (if we have too many options, we need to increase our tuning with our heart, there is an exercise for doing this that has been very useful to me [click here to learn the exercise of integrating emotions], since it integrates the vibrations from emotions and thoughts, that creates distraction in any extreme, so we can go back to our center).

  2. ADJUSTING OUR COHERENCE: our heart knows that everything external is just a reflection of the internal, that shows us if it’s necessary to make any adjustment or if we’re on the appropriate path for ourselves, due to it, in order to potentiate our heart’s wisdom through our mind, we must install the belief that everything we judge, or have an opinion about, positively or negatively, is a reflection of us that allows ourselves to learn and adjust our vibration from our personal experience. For example, we want peace and we blame everything around us because that peace we want is not manifesting itself, yet we’re still full of inner conflicts, therefore, the absence of external conflicts can only be manifested when we have found our inner peace, that is accepting and integrating everything we really are to the social context we’re in, as building agents part of the whole. Here, we can integrate the exercise of integrating emotions in order to understand from our peace what we need to adjust when it comes to our thoughts, feelings and expression (click here to read about our coherence).

  3. ALIGNING OUR EXPRESSION: in order to align our expression to the vibratory frequency of our heart, it is necessary to exercise different ways of expressing ourselves, listening with full presence, communicating just what we have the certainty that contributes to the external construction of our inner peace, in the present moment, focusing our attention on truly knowing ourselves and doing what’s most appropriate from our personal talents and abilities. Installing the belief that our thoughts, feelings and words are powerful, allows us to perceive the importance of aligning them to a purpose that permeates all the areas of our lives in order to potentiate the desire of our heart with all the intention.

  4. EXERCISING AUTHENTICITY IN UNITY: this would be the most important belief of all, since it strengthens our discernment in order to find the appropriate measure of everything in our lives, it prepares our mind to perceive the connection between everyone and everything, to build respect from our habits, to remember that all our decisions have an impact on the system, on the whole. By expressing who we truly are, the existing barriers start falling down, and just what’s truly essential for our lives remains and reveals its perfect purpose in our existence (click here to read about connection to neutrality).

The truth of our heart is usually expressed in a certain degree of unconsciousness mixed with our mental models and emotions, it’s up to us to potentiate it from our mind and be conscious of acting by encouraging integration in all the areas of our lives, since, this way, we expand this model to society through our example, and create more connective ways of relating to each other as social individuals.

Constructive Mind: 4 steps to reprogram our thoughts

Version en español

versão em portugues

For being conscious about our expression (gestures, words, actions, emotions) the first step is exercising the mental presence, which we get through the integration of our perception of the world and our attention, as we read and practice at the post 4 steps to keep our minds in the present (click here to read the full article).

When our minds are present, we can focus them on our own construction, but, how can that be useful? Easy, let’s start working on it by parts. On this post, we’ll understand how to use the present mind for reprograming our own thoughts, since they are responsible for one third of our humor and energy level (for the other two thirds our perception and our expression).

All of us have grown up in different environments and, unconsciously, we are constantly subjected to information that makes us focus on the “destructive” side of life. And, as it is what we receive most, we see that our conversations with people become a fertile field for us to talk about others, complain, feel sorry, quoting tragedies, in short, talking about something we’re not able to transform. And that, efectively, influence our humor and energy.

Let’s focus our attention on how tuning in, consciously, with the constructive side of life for reprograming our thoughts (click here to read about empowering habits). Let’s follow these 3 steps daily until we integrate them to our habits:

  1. Looking for constructive information sources to replace destructive information. Through the internet, television, people we interact with, etc. For example, instead of looking up for what’s bad for our bodies, looking up for what’s good.
  2. Perceiving the thoughts that appear during the day. If they makes us feel worried, anxious or any destructive sensation let’s find constructive personal motives to resignify them. For example, I think I need money to pay a bill, I see I can organize a raffle, do an extra job or sell something no longer useful and I realize I can get the money, then I focus my thoughts on the action that I’m going to take to get the right amount, maybe I could get more.
  3. Focusing our thoughts on ourselves, and the projects we’re involved in, since is where we can, efectively, take responsibility for the transformation. Why thinking on the motives of other people, that are their own responsability, if we can use this time to expand our consciousness and construct ourselves? Let’s think about it.
  4. Finding, at least once a day, a place where we admire everything we perceive with our senses, and we feel calm, and think about every constructive thing we have experienced and how we can integrate that into our lives, into our projects.

It’s our decision to choose what we want to connect ourselves to (click here to read about connecting to our hearts). The more people aware of their own lives and willing to contribute in an assertive way, the better results we have reforming the world we live in, building every day with more assertiveness and innovating to transform whatever is necessary. I choose to connect myself to everything that contributes to my integrity to transform the world with the contribution of everyone and everything around me, what about you?

Let’s share this easy method with people who want to recover their energy and feel empowered.

Ángel

Transmutation of the Word Corruption

Version en español

versão em portugues

To transmute corruption, we really need to understand what it is, since many of us have referred to it by applying it exclusively to people in power who have access to money in large quantities, be it in a company or in politics, and the term actually permeates society, because the government of each place is a reflection of what dominates in the group that is represented, from the inside, so, if we want changes in the way we organize ourselves as humanity, it is necessary that we learn to be more integral, from the root.

Corrupting is altering the form of something, other definitions focus on the negative aspect such as damaging, perverting, etc., but the basis is alteration. Using the definition as a basis, we can understand that corruption, as a word itself, is not bad, we can make it constructive by altering the form of something in order to construct together.

According to the definition, corruption for the negative side could be represented as an incoherence, do we say something and we don’t do it? Do we disrespect the laws when no one’s watching? Do we show ourselves as saviors or good people to take advantage of others or situations (or to improve our image)?, Do we take other people’s things because we believe they don’t need them, since they have money enough to buy them?, Do we want a better world, but we wait for others to take action to improve it? Are we incoherent in any way in what we feel, think, say and do? Do we always believe that the end justifies the means?

Today’s proposal, with the intention of assuming our own responsibility for being integral at every minute, is that we apply corruption with its constructive definition, that we alter the form of everything in our lives that has stopped contructing ourselves so that we can be an efective part of the transformation we want with our own initiative. In order to do this we don’t need followers, or groups, just commitment and love to ourselves, so, over time, we perceive that we have a constructive impact on everything, and everyone, that surrounds us. Here are some ways to start transmuting the word corruption in a constructive way:

  1. EXPRESSING OURSELVES COHERENTLY: we can use our channel of expression (body) to transmit assertively, with gestures, actions and words what we feel, with the intention of building from our hearts (click here to read about connecting to our hearts). Let’s remember to make our intention coherent by aligning feeling, thought, word and action.

  2. NOURISHING OURSELVES COHERENTLY: our cells need much less than we think (click here to read about nutrients and food necessary for the proper functioning of our cells) and by prioritizing what we need we reduce the consumption of unnecessary food, which impacts constructively our health and that of the planet, because we increase our energy and generate less inorganic waste, among other things.

  3. RELATING COHERENTLY: when we connect to our talents, and principles, we naturally feel more connected to respect for everything, which consequently leads ourselves to relate to people connected to their talents and principles, when this happens every moment of any relationship of our lives opens our minds to a new point of view, because we stop desiring to be right and start wanting to share and grow together. BY RELATING COHERENTLY TO OURSELVES WE RELATE COHERENTLY TO THE WORLD (click here to read about building solidly).

  4. USING THE RESOURCES COHERENTLY: we need much less than we’ve ever imagined, so it is essential that we constantly evaluate how to keep in our lives just what is necessary. The fact that we think we need so much, loads us with many emotions that come from our fear of scarcity. When we have confidence in ourselves, in an integral way, everything is transformed (click here to read about transforming needs that are not so necessary).

These four points have been my compass for the last few months, I’ve perceived that living a coherent life in all aspects is part of the tranquility, consciously or unconsciously, and that every small action can make a big difference from the inside out. What about you? What do you practice that has a constructive impact on the world?

Ángel

Understanding Polarities as Personal Experiences

Version en español

versão em portugues

On this planet we experience many things, among them polarities. We perceive different people and situations that make us think we can not be one way or another, but, is it serious or just a story we tell for us to feel better with ourselves in the social context we’re in that indicates a specific path?

In order to continue, it is necessary to answer the following questions to ourselves:

  1. Are we as good or bad as we think?
  2. Have we ever wished evil or good to someone?
  3. Have we ever been at times lazy or hard working?
  4. Have we ever felt sad or happy?

When we have the answer to those questions, we perceive that, along our lives, we have used polarities as resources, what makes us humans, since being good or bad is just a point of view from the context we live in, and, understanding this, is essential to adjust our personality to each moment of our lives.

Between each polarity we can have different degrees, now a little more, then a little less, and sometimes we even get to the extremes. Sometimes we insist on saying we are a certain way, but, actually, since birth we have transformed, to some degree, each of the existing polarities, for us to adapt ourselves to the environment in which we live in, the most harmonious way possible. We may have passed from moments of more smiles to more serious ones, from vices to abstinence, from limited relationships to free ones, from eating anything from hunger to being rigid with nutrition, etc.

Every moment of our lives has a change, either by action or reaction, and depends on us to recognize them so we can use it in a more assertive way. For example, if every time someone doesn’t do what we want, our reaction is to scream, when we realize that anger exists within us, we can look for a different way of channeling it, in this case we can reflect on why we have this expectation and look for an different way of doing things next time.

When we understand that is up to us to adjust the degree of polarity in every moment of our lives, we perceive that transformation is constant and that everyone of us can learn how to do it in a more conscious and constructive way, understanding what is behind every reaction.

We use the resources we have according to our cultural and family context, let’s be more comprehensive and share other perspectives, since only each one of us can connect to the appropriate measure of polarities in our own lives, by following our hearts, through integrity (click here to read about our connection to our hearts).

Let us remember that when we tend to one polarity we are feeding the other extreme, there is one because of the other to create harmony, and that, when we tend towards neutrality, the construction is more solid, because energy integrates and potentiates itself through the state flow.

Strong Bones: 3 important aspects to consume calcium in an efficient way

Version en español

versão em portugues

Now that we are aware of what’s necessary to improve the absorption of nutrients (click here to read about absorption) in our bodies and of the reason why we must be conscious of consuming macronutrients of high nutritional value (carbohydrates (click to read about carbohydrates), proteins (click to read about proteins) and fats (click to read about fats)), it’s time to know the essential micronutrients for our bodies and their functions.

Let’s start with the minerals. In the book Human nutrition in the developing world (available in English at Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations – FAO website) we can find information about the pshysiological and structural function that minerals have in the human body, and that is our topic for the next articles from now on.

Today, the subject is Calcium, one of the most important minerals for our bodies, since it is the main constituent of bones, and what keeps them strong. Along with phosphorus it is important for the muscle functions, nerve stimulation, enzymatic and hormonal activities and the transport of oxigen.

It is important to be conscious about the important aspects for the absorption of calcium and the food that contains higher concentrations of the mineral.

  1. Calcium is best absorbed when consumed along with vitamin C (limonade is one great ally and alkalizing)
  2. It is necessary to have, at least, a 10 minutes sunbath a day, without protection.
  3. The following foods are rich in calcium and in many other minerals that improves its absorption (like phosphorus and vitamin C):
    • Flaxseed: 255 mg of calcium per 100 grs. – Soak the seeds for at least 24 hours and wash them before consuming them blended.
    • Walnuts: 94 mg of calcium per 100 grs. – Soak the nuts for at least 24 hours and wash them before consuming them.
    • Almonds: 216 mg of calcium per 100 grs. – Soak the nuts for at least 24 hours and wash them before consuming them.
    • Kale: 135 mg of calcium per 100 grs.

Let’s strengthen our bodies from the inside out and feel our vital energy increase. We must always appreciate the foods we consume and practice conscious consumption (click here to read about micronutrients).

Fasting for Self-knowledge

Version en español

versão em portugues

In our lives we’ve perceived that our relationship with food is very important, whether we are conscious or not, because we are what we eat and the way we eat. Thanks to this perception, I’ve had three moments in my life in which I’ve decided to invest my energies in absolut fasting, and several other moments in which the fasting has been partial, suspending food, or habits, which make me feel with low energy. In both cases I’ve had constructive experiences in which my energy levels have increased, I’ve clearly perceived the way of organizing my priorities and I’ve increased my knowledge about the emotional world that unconsciously has governed certain reactions manifesting in my reality. During those processes, I have experienced a greater sensitivity to everything that surrounds me and what is inside me, that is, my consciousness has expanded.

Hunger is a signal that the body emits, mainly because it needs nutrients or energy, in other instances it comes from a belief that food fills voids, which creates an impulsive emotional need to eat. This is the main reason why refrain from consuming nutrient-poor foods, for example, it’s useful to know some of our motivations mentally, emotionally and nutritionally, since the nutritional needs of our body require a smaller amount of more nutritious food.

Let’s read some crucial aspects to make a conscious absolut fasting, which allows us to expand our personal perception:

  1. Free time: choose a moment (maximum 3 days) in which we can be calm and as disconnected as possible from the world, hence our perception and our energy remain focused on the reactions of our body.
  2. Volume of food: one or two weeks before fasting, it is ideal to reduce the amount of processed foods, and animal origin, and invest in fruits and sprouts. After the fast, invest in the consumption of juices with germinated seeds and introduce gradually the solid foods, perceiving the reaction of our body to each one.
  3. Relaxation and breathing: during fasting it is important that we stay relaxed and focused on breathing, because oxygen is essential in the process of cell nutrition..
  4. Sensitivity: during the fasting process our sensitivity increases, as well as when we maintain a diet as natural and appropriate as possible. Our perceptual system is more alert and receptive, we can feel more subtle information about everything that surrounds us and what is inside us.
  5. Body Consciousness: to make a fast, we must pay attention to our bodies, to understand their needs before, during and after the fast, so we keep it at the appropriate levels to make an easy process.

It is important that we learn about our basic processes of nutrition as human beings, in this way we can maintain our appropriate energy levels and a healthy and efficient body.
