Essential Autonomy

Version en español versão em portugues

One of the essential aspects we should integrate to our experience, in order to increase our personal confidence, is autonomy, since, as we understand who we truly are, and how to put that into context, we perceive that the construction of our lives totally depends on the level of commitment that we have with ourselves as social individuals.

Each one of us has a different level of autonomy in every area of our lives, from emotional to material, that must be adjusted as we advance in our path, since, above all, as part of society, it is essential to develop our autonomy in order to make decisions from our integrity, for constructing more efficient social models.

From our own experience, the following aspects need more autonomy to be developed and integrated as essential elements of our authenticity, since they build a self-confidence of solid foundation, that allows us to continue constructing from the certainty of our personal contribution:

  1. Personal Talents: we are all born with different abilities which can be potentiated, in several ways, through our own experience, when we recognize, integrate and put them into the social context, we can contribute in different areas that have the same purpose in common (click here to read about purpose).

  2. Coherent Expression: the more coherence there is between what we think, feel and express, the more energy focused on our purpose of peace we have (click here to read about the construction of peace).

As social individuals, it is essential that we cultivate the autonomy of building our authenticity, integrated to the social context we’re in, when we all contribute from our inner peace, thanks to total acceptance and integration, society reflects our integrity.

Is it truly from our hearts?

Version en español versão em portugues

This week, I’ve been focusing my attention on human interactions, of us who want to integrate through love, transparency, respect, integrity and coherence, and I’ve perceived that knowledge and searching for “truth”, can be the foundation of segregation. When we perceive that all the knowledge we own is part of the reality we live (even being imperceptible for someone`s perception system), we can use knowledge integrated to our experience to construct our own wisdom, instead of doing what we are used to do: imposing our truth on others and, then, feel separated victims because they don’t want to listen to what we say.

In every area of our lives as social human beings (scientific, spiritual, religious, politic, etc.), we have transmitted knowledge with a tendency towards polarization that creates conflict, separation and opposition, often based on what people tell us and not on what we experience or live. We use our minds to define if something is good or bad and, from that point, we select information from our emotions, created by our beliefs. The  issue comes when we feel something as if it’s real because we feel good and we say that is from our hearts, being unconscious of the fact that is coming from an emotion.

Since we are used to say that everything that makes us feel euphoric comes from the heart, we have ignored that we own emotions which we have classified as “good” that lead us, not to act but to react about situations in life from our personal interest. Everything we feel, think and express, has an impact on what we construct, on evetyhing and everyone around, so, reactions from emotions come from our mind, which is not truly integrated to the whole, on the other hand, actions from our heart come from the feeling of unity using our minds to put it into context, in the most appropriate way possible, from our knowledge and experience integrated (click here to read about connecting ourselves to our hearts)

Everytime we want to discover the origin of the way we feel, think and express ourselves, through words and actions, to understand if they are really from our hearts, we can make ourselves the following questions:

  1. Are we integrating? When we integrate we are focused on integrating and transmitting to construct, if we segregate, then we judge (positively or negatively), compare and blame (click here to read about responsability).

  2. Do we feel at peace? When a decision comes from our hearts we feel peace, if it comes from our minds, and heart misaligned, we feel emotional states such as uneasiness, pain, sadness, euphoria, happiness, anxiety, stress, etc.

  3. Can we express in a transparent way what we decide? When we are capable of finding the appropriate way of expressing our decisions in a respectful and integrative way (click here to read about respect), we are able to put our mind at the disposal of the heart by using transparency (click here to read about transparency).

Our heart always look for integration through coherence, transparency, respect and integrity, this way, our decisions made, based on certainty, construct with the most solid foundation we can create as human beings in the present. Everything that is constructed from a extreme of polarity tends to find its extreme of destruction, therefore, the more integral and aligned to our heart our construction is, more stability it finds to perpetuate itself and continue its evolution through consciousness. Let’s construct from integration and perceive the transformation of all the areas of our lives and our society.

Connecting ourselves to Neutrality

Version en español versão em portugues

It is a natural process desiring to make decisions from our personal experience, but when we take a long-term observational stance, we discover relevant aspects of construction and destruction that can happen when we make certain decisions.

Neutrality is finding the point of observation where we can question everything we feel, think and express, it is the process to recognize that to construct our peace inside, and manifest it on the outside, it is essential to put the certainty of our heart into action (click here to read about manifesting the truth of our heart). As we are 100% responsible for what happens to us, because we create from our thoughts, feelings and expression, we can understand that by connecting with neutrality we are building from integration, because we can perceive that we are cells that are part of a whole, and that we can transform everything that exists in our society, that continues to generate more of the same.

Let’s analyze the following aspects within our personal construction, to identify the decisions and beliefs that have led us to build the reality we live and, thus, be able to understand the way to connect to the neutrality we want to construct from now on:

  1. We feel circumstances are unfair: it is time to question whether we are being unfair to ourselves or to others, remember that our attitudes in one area of our lives can be manifested in another we give more relevance to, then, let’s analyze all the situations of injustice that we can be exercising, as it would be to act unconsciously and selfishly with people and the environment (click here to read about reflections on relationships).

  2. We feel that there’s no recognition: having the idea of division, judgments and comparisons are present, when we understand that, as cells, each one of us has its talent, and that our real authenticity allows us to function in a complete way, we understand that recognition is something we do within ourselves and that, as we strengthen from neutrality our talents integrated into the context, we learn to recognize that each cell is doing its part, and the idea of external recognition becomes unnecessary. (click here to read about deserving).

  3. We want to stand out: when we are in contributive mode, we understand that to excel to leave a legacy is an attitude of segregation, because for that we become destructive competitive cells, by just thinking about our prominence (think of it as a tumor) and automatically encourage the emergence of people who need someone to follow, because they don’t connect to their own selves. When we contribute, we work on our talents and transmit them to be able to integrate them with the environment we are in, we can change the world by constructing it from contribution (click here to read about constructing peace from consciousness).

  4. We feel we don’t trust ourselves: this feeling exists because we have been used to believing more in others than in ourselves. To transform this, we need to know ourselves and invest our resources in working our talents and integrate them, in a neutral way, to our environment. The more confidence we build in ourselves, the greater the impact of our actions. Let’s assume responsibility and work to become more integral every day, That is how we build our personal confidence and trust in the world, and in life (click here to read about building personal respect).

Let’s remember that everything is always in harmony, so if we focus our energy on a polarity, its other side manifests itself in our life to balance what we are creating, so, let’s create from neutrality, from the idea that we are all capable of taking on our responsibility to be more conscious and integral beings and, that way, we can construct by focusing on the transformation of polarity into neutrality of all systems, from the vision of experiencing authenticity in unity.

Building solidly, integrating our essence

Version en español versão em portugues

For me, it has been a great discovery to perceive that not everything that seems “good” really comes from the heart or is the most appropriate for me. During our life we’ve been used to make judgments about everything we perceive, and we generally say that someone has a good heart because, apparently, they help the world, people or animals, selflessly, and that, has become fashionable also in business, then, when someone wants to have a highlight, to be perceived as someone with a good heart, makes charity in a “disinterested” way, but, does that really come from the heart or is something built by the mind from the judgments that are in society?

We are all born with the potential to be what we want, from the worst person to the best (from any of the perceptions of society), everything depends on where we are going to direct our energy (thoughts, feelings and expression), for, any side that we choose, our mind is armed with reasons to justify that what we do is right, and others must follow us because they are wrong, but, in reality, each of us is on the appropriate way to learn, in some way, what we need. We exist to constantly learn, when we don’t do it, we suffer, but, what if we decide to learn with ourselves from now on?

To build something with solid foundation, it is necessary to start with self-knowledge. When we focus our energy on something we don’t like or we’re not good at, at some point what we have built is destroyed, because only real confidence in ourselves, in our abiliities and in our own talents, leads us to make more assertive decisions and build from our own foundation. Let’s see some important points to construct solidly:

  1. DESIRES: Throughout our lives, we create many desires that come from the mind, from our attachment to material things and people, to compare ourselves to others. All this leads us to channel our energy where people tell us we can have better results, often without caring for ourselves or others, sometimes even ignoring law itself, and, there, we spend our lives in what we think we need to be happy. It is important to remember that fullness is in the present moment, and that the desire of the heart (click here to read about connecting to our heartsleads us to act here and now, taking firm and sure steps to construct from our talents and integrated gifts. We must be the owners of our own desires and learn to give them shape every minute, with every thought, with every feeling, with every word, with every action and with every gesture. Our desires are never too big or small, so, it is important that we learn to live more authentically, to love and integrate what we are.

  2. COHERENCE: From our relationship with ourselves, passing through the relationship we have with our family and with the environment we live in, it is important that we are aware of what we need to relate with respect and transparency (click here to read about transparency). Let’s exercise coherence between what we think, feel and express, so we can really be coherent and bring that energy completely to all areas of our life that are really a priority for us.

  3. HELP: Actually nobody needs help (click here to read about helping vs. contributing), what we need is assistance in what we’re not specialists, to be able to construct. By dedicating ourselves to “helping” people who we believe need it, because they ask for it or because we believe they truly need it, we’re not giving assistance for them to build, but giving what they want to stay in their comfort zone, therefore, it is essential that we learn to know ourselves better and to connect to our hearts to be able to contribute with what’s truly aligned with who we really are.

Let’s begin to connect more lovingly  to ourselves, the more we accept ourselves, the more assertive our decisions are, avoid judging what seems good or bad and let the heart takes us through the path of our tranquility, always respecting everything and everyone around us (click here to read about harmony of energy). To have a more conscious and transparent world, we don’t need to be the best, we just need to be the most whole version of ourselves.

.

Conscious Humanity: Respecting Differences

Version en español versão em portugues

It is essential to integrate perspectives that allow us to construct more consciously what we really want as society. When we decided to get closer, respecting the differences of personal beliefs, we managed to build new situations that allow us to expand our perception of the world, since each of us has a different perception according to what we live.

At this moment we have the opportunity to understand that the more we focus constructively and integratively on differences, the more we contribute to build justice and inclusion. We all have the right to have the knowledge that we are 100% responsible for what we decide to live, it is up to us to focus our energy to build what we want (it never depends on the external, it is our own will).

These initiatives, I’ve applied in my life, have been useful to expand my perception of the world and to construct more respectful and integral relationships:

  1. LISTENING: We’re used to hearing (perceiving sound), but listening needs practice, because, for doing that, we need to understand that not everything we know is as it seems, that our reality is not the reality that everyone experiences. Only this way we can perceive the information and integrate it into the situation by putting it into perspective and, from there, decide if what we have to say really constructs and if it needs to be really expressed. Learning to listen involves avoiding automatic responses or advice that comes from our conviction to feel superior than others some way.

  2. EXPRESSING ASSERTIVELY: the assertive expression includes coherence, transparency and neutrality. To practice it we need to set aside judgments, because they’re not the absolute truth, but a perception of reality according to our experience; knowing what we want to express and what impact we want to cause with it, and acting according to what we want to harvest in our lives.

  3. INTEGRATING: assuming an integrative stance when interacting with the world, we can realize something that can be useful for what we want to build and that we haven’t perceived. A phrase, a video, a book, etc., can be the key to open a world of possibilities in our life. Starting from the basis that we can learn from everyone and everything, our position makes us respect and accept differences.

Respecting differences doesn’t mean that we have to learn to live all the time with everyone next to us, but we need to learn to live together as society in order to harvest the respect we demand from others. Are we really respectful to demand respect? (click here to read the text about respect)

Transmutation of the Being: 4 aspects to connect to what we truly are

Version en español versão em portugues

Our life is a personal construction that may be unconscious or conscious. Everything that manifests is our responsability, it depends on us to decide taking that in a conscious way in order to connect to our real selves for detaching of what we think we are.

Being who we really are is recognizing that the responsability about what we think, feel and express is totally ours, the decisions of every little thing in our lives it’s been made by ourselves (although sometimes it seems otherwise, it only takes one decision to change our present). That’s why we must be the most conscious possible about our own perception system, understanding how it works leads us to a deeper comprehension about ourselves (click here to buy the book 7 Levels for Personal Empowerment).

For getting to know who we reall are, it is necessary to perceive, integrate and transform, consciously, these 4 aspects:

  1. Beliefs: the filters that impact our perception of the world.
  2. Emotions: reactions that lead us to make decisions in a mental and impulsive way.
  3. Actions: the way ew nurture and strenghten ourselves, focus and use our bodies to express ourselves.
  4. Words: opinions and ideas we transmit.

Our true essence is in our state of flow and peace, as we broaden our perspective, we choose the mentality, the feeling and the expression, more aligned to our truth, becoming more coherent with our desire of integration of the heart (click here to read about coherence).

Let’s contribute, be authentic and work for a more conscious world.

Ángel

Less Polarization Generates More Integration

Version en españolversão em portugues

Throughout my life what I’ve noticed most is the way in which polarization generates segregation, if a person thinks one way, and from their perspective what the other think is wrong, then any kind of contact is avoided or conflict is generated, which makes us forget that we are only human beings, neither better nor worse, neither more nor less than others.

Extreme polarization exists because of a lack of self-confidence and a lack of available information, especially for making decisions, because this creates fear of the unknown, but what happens when we spend time in a place we trust, with people we trust? We find tranquility, and this is necessary for us to understand that the most appropriate decisions for each of us depends on our own experience, wisdom, and time.

In times of elections, sporting championships, or any moment where several perspectives seek the support of other people, we begin to know the habits of the people around us, be they segregators or integrators. It is common to see that the perspective and willingness to “be right” blind us and lead us to make decisions, which are often not consistent with what we believe, from the information we have chosen to integrate (limited in many cases by our radical perspective), but the same fear of the unknown from other perspectives leads us to radicalize and segregate without having full knowledge of the decision we are making.

When we realize this, we can choose to change our habits, we can listen more without needing to justify our position or convince others, we can inform ourselves more objectively about the options available and confront them with our values to find coherence, we can respect the differences, because it is from there that we can build what brings us the true tranquility, we can trust.

Lately, I’ve realized that people who are focused on building themselves, expressing their personal talents, and connecting assertively with the appropriate people to build projects that impact society constructively and integratively, are the ones who are transforming our society, since only by recognizing the differences, and building from them, we can have the tranquility we need, from acceptance. Let’s integrate more in all areas of our lives, both personal and social, we don’t need to be part of a party, a team, or a group, we are already part of the world, let’s do our part, let’s build.

Chakras and Earthly Experience

Version en español versão em portugues

As we integrate information more consciously, we realize that all areas are a reflection of human beings, for example we can see in civil engineering how it is essential to build solid foundations, with quality materials, from a clear purpose, or in agronomy the importance of nurturing and caring for what we sow, then, now, according to the purpose of the title of this text, we can integrate the energetic concepts of the chakras into our earthly experience.

According to different perspectives in the world (Hinduism, Theosophy, Gnosticism, New Age) the chakras are the main energy centers in our body and are integrated into our physical, mental, emotional, sentimental and expressive world. Currently we can find 7 chakras directly related to our earthly experience, for this reason the connection list between chakras and our lives has 7 points, let’s understand how we can integrate them to our experience in a constructive way:

  1. Experience from birth to 7 years old (chakra muladhara/root): this chakra, represented by the color red, is that of our anchorage to the earth, as children we need to learn to relate to the environment, to communicate, to develop our safety , so it is necessary for us to be as integral examples as possible for the children who arrive on the planet.
  2. Experience from 7 to 14 years old (chakra svadhisthana/sacrum): this chakra, represented by orange color, is our creative force/expression and energizing center, it is time to acquire habits that build our cells and discover our talents, to learn how to create/express from our hearts what we flow with, so it is necessary to foster conscious experimentation, and with proper guidance.
  3. Experience from 14 to 21 years old (chakra manipura/solar plexus): this chakra, represented by the yellow color, is the center of our emotions, the whole belief system that we have received (consciously or unconsciously) manifests itself into emotions, and so we begin to relate from a more energetic point of view that can be used to learn about our interaction with others to decide what we want to take from everything we have learned to our next phase. When, during this period, we feel at peace, the tendency is for us to strengthen our identity, otherwise we will enter into a search for something that we haven’t learned until we feel that we’ve found it. With solid foundations that allow us to be who we really are, and express ourselves constructively and transparently, we use this period to enhance what we have perceived and constructed since birth.
  4. Experience from 21 to 28 years old (chakra anahata/heart): this chakra, represented by the color green, is the center of our feelings, where we integrate our experience. This period leads us to understand, in a more rational way, that we can build feelings and realities from our belief system and our expression. Realizing that, what manifests itself in our life is 100% our responsibility, from our decisions, we can focus on constructing our integrity by understanding that everything has an effect around.
  5. Experience from 28 to 35 years old (chakra visuddha/throat): This chakra, represented by the blue color, is the center of the expression/communication of our own truth. For this chakra to be developed it is essential to be connected to our natural talents, to our true identity, to the idea that we are all part of the same living organism. In this period, with the certainty of what we want to construct, we find the need to express ourselves in the most assertive, transparent, coherent and respectful way possible, this allows us to connect more authentically with everyone and everything around us. Our actions, words, gestures and expressions align with our heart.
  6. Experience from 35 to 42 years old (chakra ajna/third eye): this chakra, represented by the indigo color, is the center that allows us to clearly perceive the motives behind actions, as we perceive reality as it is, our abilities empower us even more because we learn to relate more assertively to appropriate beings to construct as a team and to make more conscious and assertive decisions in all areas of our lives. Here the tendency is to find the appropriate measure of everything for our own life.
  7. Experience from 42 to 47 years old (chakra sahasrara/crown): this chakra, represented by the violet color, is the center of our sense of belonging to the whole, allows us to understand that everything external is a reflection of within and we are more conscious about what we want to manifest from our vibration (feelings, emotions, thoughts, words and actions) to construct with the most appropriate conscience from our talents integrated into the context.

These processes can be developed at any time in our lives, our perception allows us to accept the experience as it is, it is always time to integrate different perspectives that allow us to find our center of peace, where we integrate our 3 lower and higher chakras, our heart . As a prism we can crystallize our experience from the colors.

Respectful Connection: 5 steps to exercise respect

Version en español versão em portugues

To build every relationship it is very important to exercise RESPECT, with ourselves and others, for it is a constructive value. When we respect ourselves, and set our boundaries, we create a clear channel of communication with the world (click here to read about transparency). And if in doing so we add the intention of repecting the other’s boundaries we will be building a solid foundation for each relationship.

RESPECTING our own boundaries, and others’, is to understand that we’re all different and that’s a part of the construction of who we are, and the place we live in, and be willing to interact by absorbing the most appropriate of each situation, avoiding attacking anyone. What we’ve considered as negative or positive, at some point, may switch sides according to our experiences, what is a real fact is that, no matter the side they’re at, experiences are part of our lives and our development. So everybody deserves our respect, the same we give to someone who teaches us something.

The next 5 steps helps us to exercise respect:

  1. To respect ourselves and set our personal boundaries coherent and assertively (click here to read about setting boudaries).
  2. To respect others’ boundaries.
  3. To avoid giving opinions that haven’t been requested.
  4. To obeserve the way we express ourselves about others and transform it into  constructive one.
  5. To check the constructivity of what we are about to express before doing it.

Following these steps we transform the way we realete to the world, which, in turn, brings us new perspectives and possibilities. RESPECT OTHERS the way YOU want to be RESPECTED.

Ángel

Constructive Relationships: 7 questions to assess the level of constructivity of relationships

Version en español versão em portugues

It is very important to work on our self-relationship (click here to read the text about transforming our self relationship), in order to understand who we really are (click here to read the text about self-knowledge)  and be ready to relate to the world in a more assertive way. This includes to detach from destructive relationships, even if it is because of our or other’s intentions, and building new constructive relationships for our lives.

Today we’re talking, specifically, about the transformation of, and/or detach from, relationships that make us feel less than we are, or that just have turned into a waste of time, for we get use to it and we haven’t found our way out of there, whether because of one or many reasons (click here to read the text about empowering habits)..

Many types of beliefs have taken us to live relationships in our lives that, when we change our beliefs, we have seen them as something we don’t really want to live. As we grow up we pass certain situations that can lead us to know what we really don’t want or actually want, that’s why it is so important to learn to direct our lives by the relationship constructive path. This empower us.

There are 7 questions to assess the level of constructivity of relationships we live. Using the for every relationship (sentimental, family, friendship), in an honest way, we are able to understand if us, or other people, are having destructive behaviors, if they can really be transformed, or if the best thing to do is getting out of that relationship.

  1. In the relationship the both of us support each other?
  2. Is there respect between the both of us for each other’s growing and development?
  3. Is there freedom for being who we really are?
  4. Is there honesty and transparency?
  5. Is there dialog without manipulation?
  6. Is there trust, fidelity and loyalty?
  7. The both of us contribute to the construction and strengthening of the relationship?

If after asking ourselves these 7 questions most of the answers were “NO” we are living some kind of destructive relationship. It is important to analize is it’s really possible the transformation through the dialog, but if we perceive that there’s no possibility of changing what is destructing the relationship it is time to ask ourselves about the real reasons why we are still experiencing that. If some of those reasons is fear (of loneliness, of not finfing another person, of losing something) we must take the responsability of detaching from that and, in the most respectful way possible, making clear what we really want (click here to read the text about setting boundaries)..

When we live in an unconsciouss destructive way, we tend to see the external as a threat, but we can transform our own selves and find that heart path that leads us to be more respectful, free, transparent, faithful, loyal and constructive to us and to people (click here to read the text about connecting ourselves to our hearts). So, if today we are in a relationship like that, we must give us the chance of getting out of it and let ourselves, or the other person, follow our own consciousness path. Let’s do this for ours and others, it may be that the relationship that finish now start over again with a more consciouss point of view in order to build the relationship up .

Let’s be independent, dependency always causes undesireble emotional situations (click here to read the text about emotions and feelings).
