7 Levels for Personal Empowerment (printable eBook)

Version en español versão em portugues

Trough the process of reconnecting to my inner peace, I’ve come to the conclusion that, in order to manifest the peace we want from the world, it is essential to truly know ourselves so we can potentiate our talents and integrate ourselves to the context in the appropriate measure, hence contributing, in an authentic way, to the construction of a society of integrity.

From the processes I’ve followed, and contributed to, I’ve had the idea of transmitting, in a simplified way, the knowledge I’ve integrated, which I’m and example of, on the printable eBook 7 Levels For Personal Empowerment, that, in approximately 100 pages, integrates practical exercices, moments of personal reflection and an integral perception of our aspects as human beings (mental and emotional worlds integrated to the social context), focusing our energy to develop ourselves as social individuals (click here to read a part of the introduction of the book).

Each chapter is a level that leads us to understand more deeply the connection between our belief system, our emotions, our feelings and our authenticity, in order to integrate everything, the most appropriate way possible, to the integral expression of our essence, hence strengthening our coherence from our heart, our inner peace.

We are the integration of several dimensions, we need to find our appropriate measure to contribute as part of the whole, be grateful, accept and potentiate authenticity in unity.

6 Indicators of Presence and Gratitude

Version en español

versão em portugues

To get in touch with new ways of perceiving the world, we need to be more aware of our own processes and how they influence our interaction with the environment. In this process the mind is essential, because, as a present ally, it can profoundly transform what we consider an inevitable fact and, connected to the heart, teaches us to be grateful for everything that exists (click here to read about elevating our experience).

Bringing the mind to the present (click here to read about present mind) is one of the best strategies to perceive that the miracle of life is in the small details, a smile, a hug, a joke, the sun coming in through the window, a tea in good company, a landscape of concrete or nature that we have every day in front of us, in short, everything that seems the same and routine begins to be perceived as unique and wonderful, we can only perceive the unicity of each moment when we allow ourselves to broaden our perception.

Here we have 6 indicators that show us that we are more present and grateful.

  1. We pay attention to the smallest details
  2. We use our senses more intensely to connect with everything and everyone
  3. We integrate better what we feel to what we live
  4. We perceive the uniqueness of each moment
  5. We learn more about the situations we’re living and the people we’re communicating with
  6. We transform ourselves constantly aligned to our purpose and context.

Choosing to live life from gratitude and infinite learning we connect with other angles of the same reality and we get to recognize magic in the now. We can choose to perceive every moment as a miracle.

Ángel

Sublimation of Our Experience 5: Emotions and Feelings

Version en español

versão em portugues

Now that we understand a little better what sublimation is (click here to read the full sublimation article), and how we experience it on a mental (click here to read about mental reality), creative (click here to read about creative energy) , and sexual levels (click here to read about sexual energy), we can better understand the sublimation of emotions into feelings.

Emotions are reactive and unconscious energy in motion, arise from needs and beliefs that we have assumed as ours throughout our lives. We somatize them in the body and identify with them to the point where we think it is the language of our hearts. Emotions make us react according to what we have integrated, we go from tears to laughter, from affection to screaming, and vice versa. Feelings are active and conscious energy in motion, arise from needs and beliefs that are built from what is in our hearts, that which we flow in harmony with our environment from what we feel. We feel them in the body as a state of peace and coherence with our essence. We can act from our feelings, because our understanding of each situation expands according to our experience and the way we think, making us more assertive in our expression.

Knowing the emotions and feelings, we can follow 4 simple steps to sublimate our emotions constructively and in harmony with our essence and our hearts.

  1. Let’s ask ourselves: What thoughts do we have during the day that generate any negative or positive emotion? What daily situations intensify those thoughts and those emotions? Examples: as an example of positive thought and emotion, if we think that we are going out with someone we like, we feel like little butterflies in the belly and when they call us, thought and emotion intensify themselves. As an example of thought and negative emotion, if we think that someone is lying to us we feel the emotion in some part of the body manifesting impotence and when the person tells us something that we know, or think, is a lie, thought and emotion intensify themselves.

  2. How do we react when we feel those emotions in our bodies? Examples: for the first case the reaction may be to smile and get nervous, for the second it may be to shout and face the person.

  3. How could we work the emotion and act more assertively? Examples: to work the emotion we need deep diaphragmatic breathing until we feel calm. To act more assertively in the positive example smiling is still assertive, because it also feels in the voice, and to continue it is important that we ask ourselves if the person with whom we are going to go out is really someone with whom we want to build something together based in the reality of what the person is and what we are. To act more assertively, in the negative example, once the emotion is worked out, let’s think if we have been sincere, with ourselves and with others, and ask ourselves why we keep that person in our lives.

  4. Evaluate what we have allowed, because emotions take us to places and people so that we learn something that we did not want to learn through self-reflection. Understanding what we want from our hearts, it is the feeling of harmony with ourselves that guides us into our own path.

Today’s reflection is: What do we have to learn about ourselves through the situations we live?

Ángel
